Mona Refay
It’s always been in Mona’s blood! Mona has always been active, all of her life with the likes of soccer, softball, tennis and dance…and MUSIC always moved her. She remembers being 7 years old in Berlin, Germany, watching her mom lead a class of 40 barefoot adults to a “ski aerobics” routine, which now might be classified as some kind of Pilates workout. She sat in the back of the room, tunes were blasting, every person in that room was so happy, so motivated and the energy was just contagious and she knew there was something special there! Then 15 years later there she was taking my first Les Mills Body Pump class, when it dawned on her “I totally want to do this!” Since then Mona has become certified in BodyPump, RPM, SilverSneakers, Lagree Fitness and AFAA Group Fitness and has had the pleasure of teaching all over the Bradenton/Sarasota area for the last 7 years. She believes exercise is meant to be challenging and fun and loves to encouraging people to discover physical strength and endurance they didn’t believe they had. Mona’s goal is to always create an energetic and motivating atmosphere in which all participants can better their bodies and minds.

Angela Tucker
Angie is a Florida native, and proud proud mom of two amazing boys. Angie’s passion for group fitness is to have the privilege to help people achieve – and then exceed, their fitness goals. Angie was always active growing up. Ballet for 13 years, then drill team in high school, but after she had her two kids and didn’t like the direction her fitness level was headed in, she decided she had to start “working out”. She quickly fell in love with the classes at the gym, particularly all the Les Mills classes. She became a true believer in group fitness when she watched herself not only achieve… but exceed her goals. Next she fell in love with running and began participating in races, inlcuding a couple half marathons. Her focus more recently has been teaching Bodystep but is very excited to be along side her mom soon when she completes her first half marathon at the age of 61. Angie is certified in Bodystep. Angie’s goal every time that she teaches a class is to motivate and inspire every person in the room to accomplish their personal best, she truly believes people are capable of so much more than they think and she loves helping them realize that.
